The highest principle of railway transportation is safety and reliability. For repairs and testing of subassemblies that require dismantling to be overhauled has ŽOS Trnava, a.s. technological repair lines that build a modern technological package:

 

turning riding profiles, axels and monoblock holes, repairs of monoblock wheels by pressing off and on (IS-2, IS-3), special testing of internal tension, non destruction tests of entire wheel-set axle with most modern automated machine MagiScop CEM 2500

 

dismantling and mounting of axle bearings, bearing inspections and defectoscopy of axle journals. ŽOS Trnava, a.s. is holder of TSI certificate for manufacture wheel-sets BA 004. Since 2009 our company operates a new TSI certified wheel-set manufacturing line with capacity of 15 000 new wheel-sets per year.

ŽOS Trnava, a.s. is a Service Centre of brake distributors KNORR and DAKO. Testing of distributor units is carried out on modern test beds

 

repair of all types of commonly used buff ers. For renovation of spare parts by welding - building up of excessively worn surfaces, and for renovation of construction parts which need a heat treatment, specialized forging shop and welding shop are established. All technological lines serve not only for repairs of construction parts of carriages repaired in ŽOS Trnava, a.s., but also for the needs of other customers.
