ŽOS Trnava, a.s. is the largest railway cars repair workshop in Central Europe. Company manufactures new freight railway cars, carries out revision repairs on freight cars and passenger coaches, their upgrades, modifications, refurbishment of bogies, brake components, pulling and buffing gear, manufactures new and make refurbishment of wheel-sets.

Company systematically develops activities in area of engineering production, manufacturing of welded assemblies, CNC machining for different types of industry. We have certified quality management system ISO 9001:2008, environment protection management system ISO 14001:2004, certification for welding DIN 18800-7, DIN EN 15085-2, DIN 15018, DIN 4112, DIN 4132,  DIN 22261, qualification of L1 supplier for DB, qualification for TSI wheel-sets manufacturing according UIC 832V, EN 13260 and BN 918 274 for DB, certified qualification for revisions and repairs of ZSSK, ČD, ÖBB, VPI. Company continuously adopts to the need of the customers and of the market, upgrades production capacities, invests into new production means, systems and technologies.

In the year 2007 ŽOS Trnava, a.s. extended own possibilities by acquisition of company GOŠA FŠV - Railway Vehicles Manufacturing Company, Smederevska Palanka in Serbia. In that company we manufacture new freight cars, bogies for passenger coaches and freight cars and carries out revisions and upgrades of passenger coaches.

To the ŽOS Trnava Group belongs also company ŽOS Zvolen, a.s. This company carries out repairs, refurbishment and upgrades of locomotives.
